Restaurant search

When you choose “Find nearby restaurants,” your browser asks to share your location. AstralEats sends those coordinates and the selected cuisine to Google Places to find matching businesses. This feature does not save your coordinates or restaurant results in its database. A short-lived server counter uses your IP address to limit repeated requests.

Restaurant information comes from Google Maps. Cuisine matches and straight-line distances are estimates. Confirm menus, opening hours, accessibility, reservations, and pickup availability with the restaurant.

Google processes search data under the Google Privacy Policy. Use of Google Maps information is subject to the Google Maps/Google Earth Additional Terms of Service. Firebase sign-in is separate from restaurant search.
